Bryn Kenney, who has once reached the second position at the GPI Ranking, has occupied the ninth place in the Ranking over its latest update.
The 30-year-old professional poker player’s best cash generated in live events amount to $1,687,800, while his all-time winnings are estimated to $10,461,972. He played his first live poker tournament almost a decade ago and is known to getting to 8 final tables over the first five years of his career. At that time, he also played online, generating earnings of more than $2.4 million.
This year, the American participated in a large number of poker tournaments. The last one he took part in was the EPT-13-ESPT-7-Barcelona. Kenney first entered the €2,150 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em – Huperturbo Bounty 8-Handed event on August 21st, where he ranked as a runner-up. Then, the took part in the €5,300 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em EPT Main Event from August 22nd to 28th, ranking on 76th place with a payout of €13,160.
Bryn Kenney also participated in this year’s edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio Hotel and Casino. He entered a total of two events, generating overall winnings of $48,879.
Earlier in 2016, the US-based player managed to get to the 5th place out of a total of 39 participants in the Aria High Roller 32 $25,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event. In the period between May 29th and June 1st, Kenney entered the Super High Roller Bowl with 888poker and reached the sixth position, taking home a massive prize pool chunk of $800,000.
Between April 26th and 28th, the American played in the €10,300 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em – High Roller #2 which is part of the EPT-12-FPS-6-Grand Final. He climbed to the 25th place and won €20,340. Back on April 2nd, he emerged as a winner in the €25,000 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller tournament as part of the Aria High Roller 29 Series. Earlier this year, he won another Aria High Roller event – the €25,000 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller tournament on March 5th.
Bryn Kenney also performed great in the WSOP Circuit Series which took place at the beginning and the end of March 2016, respectively. At the beginning of 2016, he participated in this year’s edition of PCA, winning the $100,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em – Super High Roller 8-Handed event that took place from January 6th to 8th and won his best prize so far in 2016. He also played in the $50,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em – High Roller 8-Handed on January 9th and got to the seventh position.
